Fire prevention through extraction of oxygen
OxyReduct®, the innovative system of active fire prevention, facilitates a controlled reduction of oxygen levels in enclosed areas.
The Basic Principle
OxyReduct®, the innovative system of active fire prevention, facilitates a controlled reduction of oxygen levels in enclosed areas. By introducing nitrogen the oxygen content can be reduced and held at a precise level. In such an atmosphere, outbreak of fire can be excluded.
Why nitrogen?
- Nitrogen comprises the major part of the natural atmosphere.
- It is non-toxic and forms the best mixture for breathing in air.
- The nitrogen generator produces nitrogen for reducing the oxygen level in the area of application directly from the surrounding air.
- The material properties of nitrogen ensure that the necessary distribution is maintained with an even concentration throughout the area to protect.
